And today I woke up feeling ... fabulous. No fever, no problems at all. It was a beautiful sunny day and I got a decent amount of work done. So let's hope I just had a stomach bug yesterday.
As I walked back to the train from work today, I keep thinking that I had just stumbled into one of my own daydreams. A really enchanting daydream.
One where
the very first time I ever ovulate, things seem to work out.
One where JD and I will actually be living together by the time our miracle arrives.
One where I get to tell all my friends in person because, um, they're all coming to celebrate our wedding sometime in about 8 weeks from now.*
I know, it's my particular type of daydream. Perhaps a bit both more scandalous and also excessively logistical than yours might be. But wouldn't this walk make you start to daydream:

Apparently JD had a lot more faith that things would all work out for the best very, very quickly than I realized. One problem with being out of the country and using skype to make calls is that you can't 'Hit Option 1 for the Nurses Station.' Which was fine because I was super superstitious and did not want to call my IF clinic. But I needed to find out whether they wanted me to stop taking my metformin. So JD called. The answer was yes, which I had guessed, and I'm ok with that. I have been on metformin for almost a decade and of my 3 RE's 2 would have kept me on it for a while longer. But there's only one study and it was tiny. So I don't think anyone knows what's best yet. However, what got me was when JD said with a rather large amount of indignation "The nurse was
surprised. I mean, isn't this what we were going there for?"
For all my new readers, this cycle was supposed to be canceled due to non-response, but I convinced the clinic to let me finish 'because it would make me feel better.' Which also meant a last minute plane ticket for JD and some very sketchy monitoring by a local hospital in NYC. But JD wasn't surprised apparently.
If you're read this far, a gratuitous shot of the view from my balcony since today is so gorgeous.

And just in case things turn sour tomorrow I searched a fourth supermarket to find this specialty item. I wish I knew how to draw lines on photos, but I love that they've labeled it AMERICAN:

Everyone knows American giger ale is superior to all other nations' ginger ale ;)
I hope it didn't cost you too much. The other day I noticed that Newman's Own salad dressing is 8 Euro at one of the local markets!
I love your daydreams. Congrats!
Congratulations, and how great that you're feeling better! You can pinch yourself to make sure, but I think you're awake and things are awesome. Congrats!
It's beautiful where you are. I am still looking at 3 feet of snow in my front yard!
Glad to hear that you're feeling better. :)
I hope the nausea subsides for awhile. It can be a bear.
