Cravings

Read this BBC article about cravings if you want to feel better:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7370524.stm

I quote: "It found a third of cravings were not for food, but items such as coal, soap, toothpaste and sponges."

"The advice is that is if it is for a non-food item then women should be quite careful and discuss it with their midwife."

Question: why doesn't anyone mention craving vodka? Oh yeah, because most British women would be able to fulfill that craving 'in moderation.'

More on the craziness of Europeans in my next post.

My friend who is from the U.S. but currently working in England after working in Sweden tells me that French women are told to water down their wine during pregnancy. Here in the states, the pregnancy "abstinence of all things" nazis would attack!
