I'm sick. Not sure with exactly what. Definitely not a cold or the flu. But I feel weak and tired and ravenous. Ravenous is a clear sign I'm sick. It doesn't help that we had a fancy dinner at JD's job's expense last night which seriously skewed my blood sugar, so here I lie in bed with my stomach growling feeling way too weak to go out and buy anything I'm supposed to be eating .... (and yes, that means I haven't really unpacked the kitchen yet).
And yesterday I caved and bought a sleep nursing bra. Honestly, it was partly from looking at my mother's curves last weekend and partially from a few new stretch marks. And it is painful. I went to a specialty store and tried on about 5 and this is the only one which came close to fitting, but I think it's way, way too tight. I realize I need to buy a non-underwire nursing bra for the first 2-3 weeks, so any suggestions for a particularly curvy woman?*
*And please don't suggest mother.we.ar or br.ava.do. They just don't come in my size unless I pay to get them altered - i.e. buy an XXL and then get it cut down for my size 34 back, and I don't think I have time to do that.

No suggestions here but I'd like to hear them too.
I never imagined how much trouble bras would become with this whole pregnancy thing! Good luck!
Maybe check out the Upper Breast Side. It's a nursing specialty store and, of course,it's on the upper west side of NYC. I've never been there, but personally know people who have and have loved it. You can check it out on the net. Good luck....
Dear Anonymous,
Thanks for the tip. I have to tell you that I've been there and I would strongly recommend avoiding the place. To put it simply, the owner and her employees were nasty to me. They seriously suggested I go without a bra (which is awful for breast tissue given my size and hopeful plans to breastfeed) and chastized me for wearing an underwire while pregnant, although neither my mother nor Dr. Google seems to have ever heard of someone catching mastitis at 6 months pregnant ... and when I told them the honest truth, that finding a comfortable bra is a make or break issue for whether I breastfeed, they were all horrified that I was so 'self-centered' and 'short-sighted.' If you go, be prepared for super-opiniated sales people.
