The most glorious stroller ever

is currently parked in our living room so that I can show JD. It is exactly what I wanted.

Pluses:
1. Side-by-side which fits through normal doors including the 2 doors to our building, the elevator door and our very own front door.
2. Off-road capability (and more importantly will go over snow) and the big wheels mean I can bounce it up our four steps to our building
3. Weights only 22 lbs (for comparison the City Mini Double is 28 and the Bumbleride twin is 34 lbs)
4. Fits in the back of a NYC cab
5. Takes a bassinet and/or carseat
6. Easy to fold
7. One or both babies can be rear facing!! I have never seen a twin stroller in the U.S. with rear facing toddler seats.

Basically, when the first four online reviews said "imitation bugaboo for two" I thought: perfect.

Minuses:
1. Have to take seats off to fold it up, but since it fits through our door that will be rare
2. Not too much storage underneath
3. Our particular model can only be described as "Bright Puke" colored

And for the great irony this stroller is from Lalaland (new readers may not know that the fusspot I spent 10 months abroad last year there). Which is also to say that there is no American distributor yet and I will have to get the bassinet and/or carseat attachment pieces when I am next over there (there are Canadian distributors but their shipping is rather excessive).

So our new stroller is the "Firstwheels City Twin." Thank you so much for all of your suggestions! The discussion of the Bumbleride combined with actually testing out the City Mini again yesterday (and realizing it would not fit through our door) convinced me that I would not like either, and then I saw this little gem on craigslist and almost went so far as to offer above the asking price I was so excited. And we got it today and it is great.

WOW. MAJOR stroller envy! What an awesome stroller! I *love* that it's a side-by-side that fits through doors! And I love that you can attach carriage-style infant beds. Awesome. You did good on this one. They need to hurry up and distribute this one stateside...

I "heart" your stroller, and am
majorly jealous.

You are absolutely entitled to have one that suits your unique needs, and spend accordingly. Thanks for the props on me putting makeup on during labor, LOL. Hey, we all have our tipping point, and mine most certainly is vanity ;o)

I really love your stroller! I have no need for a double stroller and no idea if I ever will- but I seriously want that! ;)

You need to show a picture of the 'bright puke' color- I am now intrigued!
